The Joffrey Ballet will offer two programs of mixed repertory, a revival of Lar Lubovitch's superb full-length "Othello" and the annual presentation of "The Nutcracker" for the troupe's 2012-13 season at the Auditorium Theatre. The fall engagement Oct. 17-28 consists of Kurt Jooss' anti-war expressionistic classic, "The Green Table," marking its 80th anniversary; Jiri Kylian's "Forgotten Land"; and James Kudelka's "Pretty Ballet." "The Nutcracker" returns Dec. 7-27. The winter line-up Feb. 13-24, 2013, boasts Twyla Tharp's "Nine Sinatra Songs," Jerome Robbins' "Interplay" and a new work from Houston Ballet artistic director Stanton Welch that the Joffrey will premiere this summer at the Jacob's Pillow Festival in Becket, Mass. "Othello," a smash a few seasons back, returns April 24-May 5, 2013, timed in conjunction with Chicagoan Lubovitch's 70th birthday. Subscription tickets go on sale Monday.
